Veteran's - Directed Care
SWCIL has partnered with the Minnesota River Area Agency on Aging (MnRAAA) to provide the “Veterans Directed Care” Program, administered through the Sioux Falls VA Medical Center. The Veterans Directed Care program is a self-directed program and a long-term care option for Veterans needing nursing home level of care who would like to stay at home. This program empowers Veterans and their caregivers by giving them the ability to have direct control over the goods and services they receive to remain living in the community.
