SWCIL Board of Directors

The Southwestern Center for Independent Living (SWCIL) works to promote greater societal acceptance, inclusion, and equal access for all individuals with disabilities living in Southwest Minnesota. SWCIL is recruiting new members to its Board of Directors. If you are interested in supporting local independent living efforts and are willing to invest and share your time, skills, knowledge, and/or experience, please consider applying.

SWCIL Board of Directors Application
Members of SWCIL's Board of Directors: 
  • Serve a 3-year term
  • Attend regularly scheduled meetings (about 9 per year)
  • Establish policies for the operation of SWCIL
  • Monitor organizational finances, programs, and performance
  • Establish long-range plans
  • Contribute skills, knowledge and experience
