Low-rise Steps
The Southwestern Center for Independent Living (SWCIL) builds long-tread, low-rise steps to provide easy access to a home. Like traditional wooden ramps, these steps are also modular and can therefore be taken apart. They are also constructed using treated material, and all screws, bolts and joist hangers meet specifications for use with treated material.
SWCIL will check with local building official for permits. If building official has additional specifications, cost estimate will need to be recalculated. For more detailed information about how exactly the ramps are constructed, click the link below to download a brochure.
