The Southwestern Center for Independent Living (SWCIL) is an independent living resource center that works to promote societal acceptance, inclusion, and equal access for all persons with disabilities by empowering others with Independent Living resources and services.

Independent Living (IL) Specialist
Primary job functions: Minimum qualifications: four-year degree in a human/social services or related field or a two-year degree in a human/social services field combined with one year of experience in a disability-related position. Educational requirements may be substituted by experience with disabilities/disability services. Remote officing options but must reside in SW MN and travel to provide services within local communities.

Wage & benefits: Starting wage: $17.50 - $21 per hour based on education and experience. Shift: 8am – 4:30pm Mon-Fri. Vacation, sick, holiday, and personal day PTO; retirement plan matching; health, short-term disability, and life insurance plans.
