​This service can be provided at an individual, community, or systems level. Consumers can request assistance in advocating for specific needs or services. 

Individual Level Advocacy may include (but is not limited to):
  • Assisting in Social Security Application process
  • Assisting in locating and filling out applications for county assistance
  • Attending Team Meetings
  • Attending IEP Meetings

SWCIL representatives serve on a variety of committees, boards, and other groups to help ensure the needs of the disability community are considered and met. Some of the community groups SWCIL serves on include:
