Ramp Program Manager
The Southwestern Center for Independent Living (SWCIL) works to promote societal acceptance, inclusion, and equal access by empowering individuals with disabilities with IL resources and services. SWCIL is seeking a ramp program manager.
Job functions: residential ramp assessments, cost estimating, construction of wooden ramps, setup of aluminum ramps, securing permits, coordinating projects, and outreach to local organizations. Requires travel within SW MN, primarily Cottonwood, Jackson, Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, Nobles, Pipestone, Redwood, Rock, and Yellow Medicine Counties. Must be able to work independently, lift up to 50lbs, have reliable transportation, strong communication skills, and pass a background study. SWCIL has an equipment shop, truck, and trailer for building and transporting ramps. SWCIL offers employee training opportunities.
Wage & benefits: Part or full-time flexible hours. Full-time hours available for combined program duties. $20 - $24 per hour starting wage based on experience and qualifications. Remote office and flexible hours options but must reside in SW MN to provide services in local communities. Benefits (based on hours worked): Paid vacation, sick, holiday, and personal days. CDCS Support Planner
Full or part-time flexible hours available. A support planner is someone who understands the CDCS service, person-centered planning, and the process of developing a support plan. Primary job functions include providing information about CDCS and provider options, assist in developing community support plans, helping to monitor community support plans, and assisting with benefit questions or concerns. SWCIL offers training.

Independent Living (IL) Specialist
The Southwestern Center for Independent Living (SWCIL) is currently accepting resumes for a part or full-time Independent Living (IL) Specialist working in Southwest Minnesota: Murray, Pipestone, Redwood, or Rock counties and surrounding communities. SWCIL is an independent living resource center that works to promote societal acceptance, inclusion, and equal access for all persons with disabilities.
Primary job functions include: providing independent living skills training, advocacy assistance, career consultation, information and referral services, and peer counseling services to youth in schools and adults in the community.
Qualifications: Must be able to work independently, have knowledge of disabilities and their characteristics, reliable transportation, and pass a background study. Preferred degree in a human services or related field. Education may be substituted by experience with disabilities or disability services.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Pass a background study.
- Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to successfully complete services on a deadline.
- Capability to work independently.
- Basic understanding of person-centered thinking and planning principles.
- Will require occasional travel within SWCIL’s service area, must have a MN Driver’s License and proof of insurance.
- Prefer a candidate familiar with state benefits and disability services in the state of Minnesota.
- Ability to coordinate with case management services.
- Ability to successfully complete outreach to build on current caseload.
- Preferred degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.
