Peer services are provided by persons with disabilities who are willing to share their unique insight, knowledge and skills with others on a personal basis and is a support service provided to meet individual or group needs as expressed by the consumer.  Groups offer the opportunity to gain team building experience, develop cooperative relationships, increase interaction with others, and participate in social and recreational activities.
