Advocacy....

Provided on an individual, community, and systems level. Consumers can request assistance in advocating for specific needs or services that may be a component within their personally defined independent living plan.

Groups of consumers can access advocacy assistance to deal with a broader scope of issues which might be related to community access, inclusion, or service availability. Systems advocacy is an ongoing service that is directed by and for all persons with disabilities to promote awareness of the state and national issues affecting the lives of people with disabilities.
